Custom White Paper Design Layouts Upon joining Ultimate Software (now UKG), I oversaw and led the creative direction for our white papers' transformation from 2016-2020. I introduced a tailored approach to the design and layout, revamping the way we present long-form content for a visually captivating and compelling read. Created 90+ layouts.
UKG White Paper Template System
With the launch of UKG following the merger of Ultimate Software and Kronos, white papers needed to scale across a larger team while staying visually consistent with the new brand. The existing approach wasn’t built for multi-designer use or high-volume production.
I created a structured white paper template system with defined layouts, hierarchy, and brand-aligned guidelines that allowed multiple designers to produce work consistently without compromising quality.
The system improved efficiency, reduced inconsistency, and established a repeatable standard for long-form content across the organization.
Final deliverables included a kit including:
A comprehensive InDesign template file with custom text & table styles, with custom master pages.
A detailed digital guide offering visual guidance and direction on using the template effectively while maintaining the brand's identity.
A treasure trove of branded starter files including photoshop and illustrator resources and a library of assets (Adobe CC Libraries), empowering designers to craft branded call-out boxes, graphics, graphs, infographics, and tables.
Additionally, more resources were also developed to support designers in elevating the overall quality and adaptability of the white paper design.

High-end 60+ page white paper layouts created in InDesign (templates), specifically distributed to their most prestigious clients, featuring customized tables, graphs, and charts. Newsletter versions also were delivered.
